Sanhedrin Chapter
California Native Plant Society

The Sanhedrin Chapter of CNPS comprises inland Mendocino County and all of Lake County—from redwood forest, through mixed oak and conifer woodlands, the riparian corridors of the Russian and Eel rivers, the chaparral scrub and vernal pools of the Mayacamas Mountains, and higher up onto some of the loftiest peaks in the northern inner coast ranges.

For more about the statewide California Native Plant Society, visit cnps.org.

CNPS is a 501(c) 3 non-profit dedicated to conserving California native plants and their natural habitats, while increasing the understanding, enjoyment, and horticultural use of native plants. We work closely with decision-makers, scientists, and local planners to advocate for well-informed and environmentally friendly policies, regulations, and land management practices.
